Peel Re-New AHA Peel Mask

This chemical enzyme peel with AHA acids (20%) and stabilised papain enzyme (2%) removes dead skin cells, helps eliminate hyperkeratosis, reduces the signs of hyperpigmentation and helps correct acne scarring and the signs of chronological and photoageing.

Suitable for: all skin types, except sensitive skin

Glycolic acid

Glycolic acid is one of the most commonly used alpha hydroxy acids and acts as a powerful exfoliant.  At a low pH or sufficient concentration it weakens the links between corneocytes and accelerates the removal of dead epidermal cells. Surface wrinkles and damage are smoothed, pigmentation marks lightened, while the skin looks softer and lovelier. Also acts as a moisturiser.

Lactic acid

Acts as a moisturiser and exfoliant. It stimulates epidermis renewal, which is seen in the skin’s more beautiful appearance and reduced signs of ageing. Stimulates collagen synthesis and improves the skin's barrier function.

Papain enzyme

Clinically proven to successfully even out skin tone, reducing skin and pigmentation irregularities. It is obtained from papaya, which has a bountiful supply of antioxidants and is an excellent source of vitamin C.

• Before applying the mask, always cleanse the skin with a cleansing foam.

• Apply the Peel Re-New AHA Peel Mask to the entire face or topically, to the areas you choose. Upon first treatment, leave the mask to work for 5 minutes (monitor the skin’s response, as perhaps even less time is needed, maybe as little as 3 minutes) and then extend the application time with each subsequent treatment (up to a maximum of 20 minutes, depending on the skin’s reaction). Rinse off with water and neutralise the skin by applying the PEEL RE-NEW Neutraliser. Rinse off the neutraliser with plenty of water after 1to2 minutes. Tone the skin and complete the care treatment with a MULTIACTIVE HYALURON & B5 BOOST SHOT or MULTIACTIVE INSTANT OXYGEN POWER SHOT.

• In the morning, continue the care treatment with a MULTIACTIVE C10 VITAMIN SUPER SHOT and complete it with the VITA DERMA Protective Cream SPF 30.

• FREQUENCY OF USE: Exfoliate once a week (thin and sensitive skin) or twice a week (thicker and less sensitive skin). We recommend a 1-month course of exfoliation therapy, to be repeated twice a year. Do not schedule this therapy between individual PEEL RE-NEW professional treatments.

• HYPERSENSITIVITY TEST: Test PEEL RE-NEW products before using them. Apply a small amount of the PEEL RE-NEW product to your skin (we suggest the inner side of your arm, right below the elbow, as skin is the most delicate there).
  
  Wait approximately 5 minutes and if the skin becomes very red (breaks out in hives) or you feel a strong itching or burning sensation, rinse the product off with water and immediately apply the neutraliser. In the event of a strong reaction, don’t use the products.

• WARNING: UV PROTECTION!
  PEEL RE-NEW products based on AHA acids (AHA Strong Exfoliant, AHA Peel Mask, AHA creams) temporarily increase skin photosensitivity by removing the top (cornified) layer of the epidermis. For this reason they are only suitable for use in late autumn, winter and early spring; at home, they are to be used FOR EVENING/NIGHT CARE. When using the products and for at least 15 days after use, avoid direct exposure to sunlight and protect the skin with the VITA DERMA Protective Cream SPF 30 during the daytime.

• Before the morning application of the protective cream, we recommend continuing your care routine with MULTIACTIVE C10 VITAMIN SUPER SHOT.

• IMPORTANT!
  PEEL RE-NEW products (except the cleansing foam) ARE NOT SUITABLE:
  for very thin and couperose skin; for pregnant women and nursing mothers, chronic patients or chemotherapy patients; for those with cold sores; when sunbathing and undergoing a course of dermatological therapy; one week after depilation, microdermabrasion or other skin peels; for skin around the eyes and areas with permanent make-up, tattoos or moles (during application, any such areas must be properly protected).
  + Do not use PEEL RE-NEW products on damaged and diseased skin.

• Consult your doctor before using any PEEL RE-NEW products alongside any medication.

• FAMILIARITY WITH NORMAL (EXPECTED) ACCOMPANYING EFFECTS: The application of PEEL RE-NEW products based on AHA and BHA acids may cause mild to moderate redness of the skin or a warm, tingling, prickling or stinging sensation on the skin. These are all normal reactions caused by the effect of the AHA/BHA acids and will soon wear off.

• Do not apply the PEEL RE-NEW AHA cream on the day you use the AHA Peel Mask. Exfoliate once a week (thin and sensitive skin) or twice a week (thicker and less sensitive skin). We recommend a 1-month course of exfoliation therapy twice a year. Do not schedule this therapy between individual PEEL RE-NEW professional treatments.
