Salicylic acid (2%)

A beta hydroxy acid found naturally in apricots, willow bark, blueberries, rosemary and thyme.

It is a lipophilic (oil-soluble) molecule that dissolves sebum, thus opening and clearing clogged sebaceous glands. It dissolves comedo formations that clog or obstruct the “breathing” of pores while providing a mild antibacterial effect. It shrinks enlarged pores, regulates sebum secretion and reduces the formation of spots, blackheads and acne.

It also provides surface exfoliation by breaking down dead skin cells and promotes the regeneration of the skin’s basal layer. As a result, it smooths the skin’s texture, gives it a more even tone, strengthens its protective function and ensures a fresh, healthy appearance. By removing the dead skin layer, it also allows for easier, faster and deeper penetration of products applied as part of follow-up care.

Nettle extract

Nettle extract is rich in minerals, flavonoids and vitamins that have antioxidant and anti-age properties. It also has a cleansing and detoxifying effect, which is why it supports the action of salicylic acid so well.

Oak extract

It is characterised by high levels of tannins which have an astringent effect. This makes it particularly suitable for treating oily, impure skin with enlarged pores.

Hypersensitivity test

We recommend doing a hypersensitivity test before using any new cosmetic product for the first time.

• Apply a small amount of the product to the clean skin on the inner side of your forearm.
• If the product needs to be rinsed off after a specific time, do so after such a time has elapsed. Otherwise, rinse it off after 24 hours.
• If no unexpected skin reactions occur on the skin within 24 hours (such as extreme redness, itchiness, tingling, stinging and/or raised skin bumps), you can begin using the product. Otherwise, rinse it off immediately and don’t use it.

Apply the concentrate to cleansed skin and leave it on for two minutes. No rinsing is required. Continue by applying the toner and nurturing products of your choice.

For dry to normal skin, we recommend topical application once a week or as needed (apply the product only on problem areas, such as enlarged pores, spots or blackheads).

For combination, oily and impure skin, apply the product two or three times a week (only on oily areas with combination skin, and on the entire face with oily skin). If dealing with extremely impure skin, the product can be used several times per week, as needed.

Professional use: we recommend using the product as part of any care treatment on combination, oily and impure skin. When treating dry to normal skin, we recommend applying the product only during the first treatment. The product is especially recommended before deep cleansing procedures (manual and ultrasound cleansing).

The product is not suitable for:

• sensitive skin,
• people allergic to salicylates (such as aspirin),
• treating skin with active acne (inflammatory),
• use in combination with the Afrodita Professional Vita Derma ACNE Ampoule (do not apply the product on the same day).

Important

• Make sure that the product does not come into contact with the eyes.
• Use the product only on undamaged skin.
• Using the product may initially worsen the condition of oily, impure skin. This is a normal reaction that results from intensive cleansing and wears off with continued use.

• To treat oily, impure skin, we recommend using it in combination with Pure Skin Solution products.
