Skin-identical concentrate of ceramides: I, III and VI
mimics the structure of the natural skin barrier and has a highly protective and rejuvenating effect.
Ceramides are intercellular lipids naturally present in the corneal layer of the epidermis. Together with skin cells (corneocytes), they create a protective layer that prevents excessive transepidermal water loss and protect the skin against UV rays, pollutants, microorganisms and other external factors. If we compare skin cells and ceramides to bricks and cement, the skin cells are the bricks and the ceramides are the cement. The ceramides keep the skin cells together and in this way contribute significantly to the healthy barrier function of the skin.
Unfortunately the quantity of the skin’s own ceramides falls with age. As a consequence, the skin becomes increasingly dry and sensitive and starts to age more quickly. That is why a care product that is rich in ceramides is especially welcome. Because they are skin-identical ingredients, ceramides are suitable for the care of all types of skin, including the most sensitive, and are essential for: dry, very dry and mature skin.
Vitamin A
increases the thickness of the epidermis and boosts the synthesis of collagen and glycosaminoglycans, which retain moisture in the skin. Used to reduce facial wrinkles and improve skin elasticity.
Vitamin E
is a powerful antioxidant: it protects the skin against the damage caused by the action of free radicals and consequently has a powerful anti-age effect. It also protects the lipids and lipoproteins of cell membranes against oxidation and preserves their capacity to bind moisture. It therefore functions indirectly as a moisturiser and improves skin elasticity.
100% natural sunflower oil
is a natural source of vitamin E and a natural antioxidant. It is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins B1 and B2, and also contains lecithin and waxes. It has a soothing effect and deeply nourishes the skin.

Apply the cream every evening to the thoroughly cleansed and toned skin of the face, neck and décolletage. For best results, we advise using in combination with CERAMIDES RICH Day Cream for face, neck and décolletage.
In the case of extremely dry skin, we also advise the use of Night Cream for day care (if Day Cream is not enough for your skin and even after application you feel an unpleasant tightness or “pulling” sensation).
Always remember to cleanse and tone the skin during daily morning and evening care. Consistent cleansing and toning are the first and most important steps on the road to beautiful and healthy skin.
